During my second year at NCAD, I was tasked with designing a promotional movie poster for a selection of films featured at the Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF). I was assigned Bipolar, directed by Queen Li and starring Lead Dou.

Inspired by the protagonist’s journey through striking landscapes in pursuit of her ultimate destination, the lighthouse, I developed a poster that captures the sense of adventure and discovery at the heart of the film. I also incorporated subtle visual references to key elements of the story, including a car, a skull and rugged tracks, adding further layers of detail for viewers to discover.

The completed posters were exhibited at The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield, Dublin, where they were on public display throughout the festival.
